As of Sunday, Jan 1, 2023, we’re going back to 3-week loans for most library materials, including:
- Books and Popular Picks books
- CDs and Spoken Word
- Musical Instruments
- Children’s materials and toys
- Literacy materials
Any items checked out before Jan 1 will still be available for one month (28 days). This return to our shorter, pre-Covid loan period will help us move materials through our libraries more quickly. It'll also align us with other public libraries in Saskatchewan, to give everyone who uses the provincial library system a more consistent experience. Plus, we're still overdue fines-free, so you won’t be charged for late items, if you get them back to us in good condition within 30 days. |
